Dieser Strang gilt allen freiheitsliebenden Menschen auf der Welt, die im Zuge des sich immer weiter ausbreitenden Sozialismus, die Ideale der amerikanischen Gründungsväter für richtig und gut halten.

Heute vor 235 Jahren beschlossen die Repräsentanten der 13 amerikanischen Kolonien, nach jahrenlangen Terror durch den britischen König, die Trennung vom britischen Mutterland.

Thomas Jefferson's Unabhängigkeitserklärung repräsentiert bis heute, den Ausdruck der menschlichen Sehnsucht nach Freiheit und Selbstverwaltung. Nicht nur, dass die ultimative Macht von den Individuen ausgeht und der Staat letztendlich vom Volk eingesetzt wurde um diesen zu Dienen.Nach dem Gedankengang Jefferson's hat Gott jeden Menschen mit unveräusserlichen Rechten nämlich Leben,Freiheit und das Streben nach Glückseligkeit ausgestattet, die auch nicht durch Mehrheitsbeschluss entzogen werden können.

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

In den kommenden Jahren stellten sich die Kolonisten, unter Führung des virginischen Edelmannes George Washington, den britischen Truppen. Dank der Mithilfe des preußischen Offiziers Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben, konnte die Kontinentalarmee zu einer kampfkräftigen Armee ausgebaut werden, welche letzendlich der britischen Armee 1781 bei Yorktown den Todesstoß versetzte.

In den folgenden 200 Jahren werden sich die Vereinigten Staaten zu einem Hort der Hoffnung für die geknechteten Völker dieser Erde entwickeln.Hier in den USA werden die Menschen nicht nach "Rasse",Religion oder Herkunft aussortiert.Das einzige was wirklich zählt, ist der Charakter eines Menschen.Oder wie es Emma Lazarus in ihrem berühmten Gedicht "The New Colossus" ausdrückte:

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame
With conquering limbs astride from land to land
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame

Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.

„Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!“ cries she
With silent lips. „Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

Gedenken wir heute also jener großartiger Menschen, die diesen Siegeszug der menschlichen Freiheit möglich machten.
